Tell me the story about Riksgransen in May of 1996.  How was that day for you?
It was a great day. Had a good time riding with my friends and the weather was nice.

What is the story with Allian snowboards?
Since Atlantis snowboards (company that I started over in San Diego) went under and I moved back to Sweden it was time to start something new.

Where is your favorite location to ride?
Where the snow is good

What is your preferred terrain to ride?
Free riding, backcountry with lift access

For an American Snowboarder that has never been to Sweden what is one thing you would tell them to bring?
A good mood

What was snowboarding like for you when you started riding in 1989?
It was all new to me. Very few snowboarders around. Never saw a snowboarding film or mag or anything like that. Just me and some friends that went up on the local hill and tried to make up tricks. All riders where good friends back then, all the riders in Sweden where pretty much friends.

What is shredding like in your home resort Dundret?
Its still fun but today I seems a lot smaller then when I started riding.

What do you do for a living?
I live for a living.

Did you get banned from the United States?  Why?
I was just a kid traveling around the world all the time, just snowboarding. People at customs in America didn’t know what snowboarding was back then and I already had my passport full of stamps. Explaining to them that I was surfing down mountains for a living didn’t go so good. One guy at customs just didnt let me enter USA and sent me home. He told me I wasn’t allowed back without a visa. But that was no problem. I went to Sweden, got a visa and was back in the States within 3 days...

Do Americans ever mispronounce your name?
No, they are pretty good at pronouncing over there.

Do you have a daily planner?  What do you write/draw in it?
I have and what’s in there is secret....

How is that you are  a professional gambler instead of a professional snowboarder?
Just wanted to do something new. But now after playing poker professionally for 3 years I'm actually back on the mountain again taking a break from poker.

Can you remember your best day of snowboarding?
I don't know exactly but all my best days had pow, friends, sunshine and no liftlines.

Do You rather live in Europe than in USA?
I like both places but most my friends and my family is in Europe.

Do you still skate or surf these days?
Yes both, just got a new skate set-up today.

Dream destination?
Maybe the moon?

What is the deal with WE?
After I moved back to Sweden in -99,me and my manager wanted to start a clothing line together. He already had a skate/snowboarding business going in Sweden so it was easy to start a little clothing line. From then on it grew and we got a lot of our friends involved either as WE-activists or employees.Today its a big company and we sell clothes to all kinds of people who like to wear clothes.

Thanks?
Family and friends.
