Name: Kirk Kaufmann

SR: How’s your season going? You defiantly had a rough start breaking your head open first day of riding.
KK: Yea the past couple of months haven't been that good to me. But everything seems to be healing up pretty well, and I'm starting to be able to board like a true bat again.

SR: You have lived in Mammoth for a few seasons and now your living in Bear. What made the change and how is the living and riding there?
KK: Bear mtn is pretty much nonstop fun, and thats mainly the reason I moved there. the park is so massive with so many rails and jumps its hard not to learn new tricks every day. but the lack of natural snow at bear has definitely made me miss the massive pow days that mammoth has to offer. I might consider moving back there if i did have to spent my life savings on a season pass...

SR: How many hours do you play Guitar Hero a week?
KK: In reality about 8.23 hrs. But in my head its playing 24 hrs a day baby.

SR: Are you working or going to school right now?
KK: Right now I'm working night park crew at bear. But not going to school is making me feel dumbderrr. So I may go back next year.

SR: You had a pretty rad part for the Bear movie this past year. What’s in the works for this season?
KK: As of right now I have a whole bunch of nothing due to my recovery. Hopefully I'll be able to make it happen over the next couple of months

SR: Favorite Trick ever?
KK: Who doesn't like perfectly executing a good ol' once around?

SR: What do you dislike the most about snowboarding or what it’s becoming?
KK: Kids need to start focusing on how they look in the air rather than how they look in the mirror. nobody cares if you think youre a rapper or a model.

SR: Most underrated rider in bear?
KK: Jared "jer bear" Johnson. The guys truck runs off of vegetable oil for god's sake!

SR: Why don’t you have an Ipod?
KK: please check out Ipodconspiracy.com

SR: What tunes are you grooving to these days?
KK: pretty much the uge ; reggetone, eazy e, enya.

SR: Craziest thing you have seen this year?
KK: I recently saw mac (spedale) do a bs 9 FT off a jump hes never even hit. oh, and a chicken enchilada grilled stuffed burrito? are you kidding me? yum?

OLD HOUSE IN MAMMOTH: Does it smell like pee in here to you?
HOSPITALS: Get that needle away from me!

SR: Favorite Rider ever?
KK: The whole Robot Food crew is nothing short of amazing.

SR: What do you think about Snowboard-Revolution?
KK: I give you guys 9/10. Ill change that to 10/10 if you give me some die cuts that will actually stay on my board..
