Torstein Horgmo Beats Heavies in X Games Big Air
Torstein beat out not only Kevin Pearce but Travis Rice and Andreas Wiig as well tonight in Big Air. It was great to see Big Air back in action after a hiatus. Only 4 guys in it, head to head format. In the first hat Andreas Wiig stomped a back rodeo 9 and bailed a double cork front 10 versus Kevin Pearce and his front 10 tail grab. KP moved on. By the way KP competed in three events today; slopestyle (he got a silver) pipe (he made the finals) and the Big Air.
Next up was a Travis Rice versus Torstein Horgmo. Travis did double back rodeo 10 versus Torstein’s switch back 12. I think they both scrubbed their second runs – Torstein moved on. The final saw Torstein make switch back 9 and a switch back 10 against KP who bailed twice.

- One spot for the final round. Torstein vs Travis. 50% of the vote was the viewers but the final call was made and Torstein's switch backside 1260 pushed him through.
