Taos opens to snowboarding on 3/19 and Venture will be there!
The wait is almost over - Taos will finally open its chairlifts to snowboarders for the first time on Wednesday, March 19th 2008. Venture Snowboards will be there to celebrate and offer free demos to the public for three consecutive days - 3/19, 3/20, and 3/21.
Our friends at Ska Brewing will also participate in the festivities, giving away a limited edition, custom graphic Venture/Ska snowboard. The apres ski raffle will be held on 3/19 at Tim's Stray Dog Cantina in the base area.
Please note that demo dates scheduled at Telluride (3/20) and Purgatory (3/22) have been cancelled to accomodate this event.
