The Block Party Postponed

 

THE BLOCK will instead be part of a Rail Jam at Big Bear on March 28th-30th MFM and Chris Bradshaw's Game of SNOW...

March 28th: MFM and Chris Bradshaw Game of Snow Qualifier.
March 29th: MFM and Chris Bradshaw Game of Snow Finals (cash prize).
March 30th: Picnic in Da Park contest with Elm, 686 and Omatic Snowboards.

THE BLOCK party will take place in December.

About the Block Party:

Everyone knows the MFM throws down the baddest parties on the planet and over the past 5 years THE BLOCK Party has gained the reputation as the biggest, baddest and most important party of the year in the snowboard industry. Top name riders, High Profile Celebs, Industry heads, and fans all congregate on South Lake Tahoe to enjoy the best in snowboarding competition and around the clock nightlife. THE BLOCK PARTY 2008 promises to be the best snowboard weekend party ever! This is the EVENT OF THE YEAR that will be enshrined in the history books and you don’t want to miss!!!! 

"MFM has delivered once again; an incredible list of riders," says Liko Smith, Managing Owner of THE BLOCK Hotels..."Now the only question is, which of the 30 riders will be victorious?"  All riders at THE BLOCK party are going to be treated like kings. "From the minute they arrive at the hotel, until they finally manage to stumble back to their cars, planes or buses...this is going to set a new standard as it does each year, A blowout to end all blowouts!" Smith finishes.  

THE BLOCK Party is a non-for profit event, all proceeds from THE BLOCK Party are used for the event, the remainder is paid to contest winners with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Stoked Mentoring. Stoked mentoring is a non profit action sports organization for "at risk" youth with the mission of developing Successful Teens with Opportunity, Knowledge, Experience, and Determination through the use of action sports, mentoring, and coaching.
