First of all I would like to thank Laura at Snowbird for being kind enough to hook us up with tickets for an awesome day of snowboarding.  Our crew consisted of myself, Mac Spedale, Elliott Levitt, and Grahm Etzel, and we were all trippin that we got to ride Snowbird on June 22.  So we showed up at the mountain around 10 o’clock and jumped right on the tram.  Fist thing we did was head down Mineral Basin for some slushy madness.  There were tons of little jumps, bonks, mogul gaps, and cat track launchers all the way down. We ended up spending most of our time back there doing slush-alanches, rock rides, and little side jumpers anywhere we could find.
The next spot we checked out was Little Cloud.  "The wave” hip jump was in full effect as backflips were being thrown left and right.  We rode Little Cloud for a little, then headed to the skiers right side of Mineral Basin where we ran into some radical mono-boarders and took a bomber mogul run.
Back on the lift and Elliott was trying to force us all to take spray shots of this nasty sour War-Head candy that tasted like battery acid.  He claimed it was the ultimate cotton-mouth cure, but I think I could find better. After about 10 of those and Elliott nearly puking off the lift, we headed around the front side of the mountain to Chips Run and found a bunch of little jumps and what not that ended up being really fun.  There is still so much snow up on the mountain.  I’m surprised that every snowboarder in Utah wasn’t up there.   We couldn’t ride all the way to the bottom because some rocks were in our way but it still ended up being one of the best days you could ask for.

- Looking up at the face from the tram.  You can tell why is hard to make it to the bottom.

- looking down the face of Snowbird from the Tram at one of many patches of snow.

- Elliott Levitt getting gnarly.

- Mac, Elliott, and Grahm starting up a  slush-alanche.

- Getting buried in the river of slush.

- Looking back up at the slush-alanche with a crew of riders coming

- Mac doing a backflip off the wave hit.

- Looking back at Mac and Elliott from Little Cloud lift.

- Elliott was wearing the sunglasses his girlfriend gave him.  Prom 2008, wait, how old are you Elliott?

- Just some babe in booty shorts.  Needless to say, Elliott hit on her.

- This was a good spot to take a safety break.

- The view from the top of Snowbird looking out of smog-less Salt Lake City.

- Grahm missing the snow completely.

- Far Out Man!

- This was a fun cat track gap we found off of Chips Run.  Mac launching huge.

- Mac playing around in the puddles.

- Elliott getting sticking his head down the refreshment hole.

- Last run. This was one of the most technical runs of the day. I almost fell in the waterfall.  See you next year!
