On the 12th day into the year, Salt Lakes underground shred magazine known as SLUG MAG hosted the Lumber Jack Jam at Brighton Resort in Utah. This was a jib comp with no rails, just unprocessed lumber. The jibs included a city style down log, a half rainbow log, a straight log and a huge tree tap log.
The riders took some time to get use to the tree’s as some gnarly bails were occurring as often as banger tricks. Many Salt Lake shreds showed up to show tech tap tricks on the tree tap along with high risk presses and even sliding sideways down a heshed up log.
Best Trick went to local GIRL shred Lajawn along with a brand new Machine and a set of 390 bindings. Pancakes and Red Bulls fueled local Rome riders Ted Borland and Brandon Hobush as they took the 1st and 2nd place titles in the end. Thanks to everyone who helped out and put on such a rad time.
