Ride Snowboards SBA 6 Reception
Friday, February 15th at the War Room in Seattle, Ride celebrated with friends and artists for the SBA 6 reception. With so many amazing designs and talented participants, it was tough for our creative team to narrow it down.
The Grand Prize Winner of Ride Snowboards SBA 6 is Dan Brandon of Burlington, Ontario for his work "Ridin Dirty".
1st runner up was Molly Bryant of San Diego, CA. with her design "Flow".
2nd Runner up was Nick Desjardins from Brampton, Ontario for "The Shredder".
3rd Runner up was Peter Gregg out of Hertfordshire UK with his design "Unnatural Selection"
The remaining 3 boards in the Top 7 Runners Up category went to Steven McDonald for "Monocle", Brek Leines for "A World of Lines" & Apolllo Bey for "Pop".
Within the top 30, there were 3 Honorable Mentions given to:
Chris Hingel, "Disconnected"
Drew Pigott, (unnamed)
Clint Hensley, "Hanging Heads"
A special mention goes out to Apolllo Bey out of Irvington, NJ. Apolllo was the only participant with the maximum entries in which all three made it into the top 30, one of them in the top 7 runners up category.
Congratulations go out to all of our winners. Thank you to Molly, Apolllo, Drew and Mike for coming out to the reception, it was great to have a few of the artists make an appearance.
We would like to thank all the participants of the Snowboard Art contest, DJ Bobcat and Quadrillion for their musical talents, the War Room, Prolab West, our judges and all that helped pull the event together.
