Park City Closing Day

It has always made me insane why some resorts close so early. With plenty of snow, people in the lift lines, and their parks on point Park City is now done for the season. With an amazing season in Utah this year almost every resort was holding well over a 100 inch base Park City included. We made sure that we made the most out of out last day there with our crew consisting of Andrew Miller, Mac and Sam Spedale, Elliott Levitt, Nick Russell, Spencer Naess, Stu, and myself (Joe Carter). The top park (Jonesy's) had some good jumps and a beach themed rail section with blow up palm trees, monkeys and Hawaiian lays all over the place. It seemed like every kook and gaper from Utah made it out for closing day all wearing some sort of weird ass costumes or flair my favorite being the skier wearing only a jock strap with a raccoon tail cover his ass crack. Back to the parks they were on point and you would think this was last day. Following the the Jonesy's park was a new tiny jib line set up down to Bonanza lift and back to down to the face of the mountain for Kings crown park that still had a good jump line in tact leading to our favorite spot of the day the 22ft Olympic Superpipe. The pipe stayed in perfect condition all day and we shredding until the last lift went up. Nick and Russell and Spencer were killing it blasting huge airs and had a close call trying some doubles action. Stay tuned for the video with that, some other funny shit, and some really gay song that Mac picked to use. Next time you see him tell him how gay the song was. - I'm sure this isn't the first time Elliott has given someone an unexpected face shot. If ya know what I mean.

- End of a long day and a good season for Park City See you next year. ** It snowed about a foot two days after parking city closed.... crazy.
