Okemo Extends Ski Season

, Vt. – It aint over ‘til the fat lady sings and the only music Okemo Mountain Resort is hearing is the song of joy from skiers and riders who will savor another week of winter. Okemo is extending the season from its original target closing date to April 20.
Warmer temperatures, longer daylight hours and sunshine that turns snow to corn by mid-morning, serve as the springtime rewards for loyal skiers and riders who paid their dues during the deep, dark days of winter. Snowsports enthusiasts know that spring skiing is celebrated with zany events and some great end-of-season deals on lift tickets. Starting Monday, March 31, Okemo will offer midweek rates through the weekend of April 5 and 6. Then, starting April 7, further discounts may apply. Some additional special offers follow.
April 2 - VT/NH Wonderful $29 Wednesdays!: Vermont and New Hampshire residents can ski/ride the entire day for just $29 (half-day from 12:30 to 4 p.m. for just $25). Proof of residency in the form of a valid VT/NH driver's license, hunting/fishing license, or voter registration card must be presented at the time of purchase.
April 3 - Okemo Skier & Rider Appreciation Day – Ski or ride all day for just $29!
April 4 - Friends of Harpoon Friday: Friends of Harpoon can receive 50 percent off an Adult All-Day, All-Mountain Lift Ticket. Snowsliders must present a valid Friends of Harpoon Card at the lift ticket window. To become a Friend of Harpoon, go to friendsofharpoon.com and register. Current Friends of Harpoon must complete a quick form to receive a coupon. Everyone visiting Okemo on April 4 can enjoy discounted Harpoon drafts all day and live music during an apres ski party at the Sitting Bull.
April 5, 6 - Okemo Flex Card Holder Free Days: Okemo Flex Card holders can ski or ride for free on Sat. and Sun., April 12 and 13.
