The $119 pass is on sale now at the ski resort and through the resort’s website and can be used starting Saturday, March 1. Children 6 and under receive a free season pass when their parent or grandparent purchases the spring season pass!
The spring pass can be used every day that Meadows is open through the 2007/2008 season. The resort is scheduled to operate daily through April 27, then weekends through May as part of the resort’s annual “May Challenge” – Meadows commits to reopen lifts each weekend if 4,000 skier visits turn out the previous weekend. The resort extended operations through the first weekend of June two seasons ago, and the third weekend of May last year through the challenge. Meadows’ spring experience includes expansive terrain, awesome freestyle park terrain, wide open skiing and riding on Cascade Express and spring corn in Heather Canyon.
Resort Executive Director of Communications Dave Tragethon says the spring season pass has been extremely popular. “This is the third season we’ve offered this pass. We’ve been receiving calls about it since the beginning of February. With the best snow depth in the nation, we expect there will be a lot of skiers and snowboarders making plans to come to Meadows not only locally but from across the country. It’s going to be a great spring on the mountain!”
The unlimited spring season pass is a great value as current lift ticket prices are $64 during peak times and $54 during non-peak times. Guests who purchase a day ticket can upgrade to a season pass at the end of the day and apply the price towards the purchase of the Unlimited Spring Pass.
