Aaron Pritchett concert rescheduled due to major 50 cm spring snowstorm
Banff, Alberta – One of the most incredible snowfalls in years blanketed Sunshine Village Friday, creating a powder paradise heading into the weekend. "In my 13 years at Sunshine I have never seen so much snow in one dump," said Stewart Laver, Director of Sunshine's great skiing and boarding school. "It was just massive. Knee deep everywhere." Already, more than 50 centimeters of fluffy snow has fallen from the early morning until the early afternoon, with much more of the white stuff expected over the next few days. "Sunshine is renowned for amazing spring conditions, and this snowfall proves there is no better place this time of year to ski or ride," said Mike Moynihan, Manager of Sales and Media of the resort that will be wide open to the May long weekend. Aaron Pritchett who was scheduled to perform live at Sunshine Village April 19 and 20 as part of the spring concert series, will reschedule his performance for a later date.
