Fernie Alpine Resort Hosts Powder, Pedal, Paddle Relay Race
Snow Surpasses 11 Metre Mark (Over 36 Feet)
Calgary, AB – Fernie Alpine Resort will host its annual Powder, Pedal, Paddle Relay Race on Saturday, April 5th. An annual favourite, the “PPP” has been going strong since 1984. The race is a fun, yet competitive relay, where teams of 1-5 people ski, bike, paddle and run their way down the mountain, to town, and back to the ski resort plaza.
The race is followed by a dinner for all competitors and an after party for competitors over 19 years of age. The “PPP” is the perfect season ender.
The Powder, Pedal, Paddle Schedule is as follows:
Friday, April 4th
*NEW* 5pm – 8pm: Registration and Early Bib Pickup (Daylodge)
Registration is being offered on Friday evening to help alleviate the Saturday morning rush.
Saturday, April 5th (Schedule is subject to change)

Participant safety is a priority for the organizers. Event organizers will be monitoring all areas of the course, and course changes may be made to ensure the fun and safety of all participants.
PPP entry fees are per person and are $35 plus GST for participants over 19 years (until April 3rd) and $30 plus GST for participants under 19 years (until April 3rd).
