Three-cornered Hats or Dress Like the Pats –“ Ski Free or Buy” at Bretton Woods on April 21st, 2008
Bretton Woods, NH – In honor of Patriot’s Day, Bretton Woods is extending it’s closing date and offering free spring skiing on Monday, April 21, 2008. On that day only, skiers and riders donning patriotic attire, from three-cornered hats to stars and stripes costumes, will be treated to a fabulous day of spring skiing at New Hampshire’s largest ski area for free. April 21st, 2008, will be the final day of this skiing and riding season at Mount Washington Resort’s Bretton Woods, which is proud to be completing its second record-breaking season in a row.
Another option for Patriot’s Day Celebration participants is to purchase the new 2008-09 Threedom Pass on April 21, 2008. Not only will purchasers ski for free on Patriot’s Day, but, in addition, $50 per Threedom Pass sold on that day will be donated to the “Wounded Warrior Project” in honor of all service men and women. The Wounded Warrior Project is a non-profit organization that seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world by providing them with unique programs and services, raising awareness and enlisting public support, and providing a means for veteran’s to help each other.
Bretton Woods is currently over 90% open on terrain, and "spring rates" are in effect, with prices as follows: Adult-$49.00, Teen-$39.00, and Junior-$29.00. Please note the Red Carpet Ski and Snowboard School, and Hobbit’s programs, have closed for the season. The Rental Shop, Treetop Sports retail shop, Lucy Crawford’s Food Court, and the Slopeside Pub are open daily through closing.

Set at the base of the stunning 6,288-foot Mount Washington and surrounded by nearly 800,000 acres of the White Mountain National Forest, the Mount Washington Resort is a four-season vacation destination for guests of all ages.
