2008 Honda Session: Rail Jam Results
Vail, Colorado - A super technical "skateboard park on snow" inspired design keeps the riders on their toes. Each year the set-up is completely different, pushing the progression of snowboarding with features unique to the Session. Bowls, huge rails on steroids, quarter pipes, step-ups and more have all made appearances in the Steel & Sky Rails course.
Every 15 minutes the fireball lights up the sky and we cut a check. The riders with the most money after the 1 hour session take the podium. The open format allows multiple riders, with different lines to all hit the course at the same time.
“The creativity of Planet Snow Design on designing the course is amazing, this year there is a new design for the jumps and rail course that will test the riders like never before!” - Greg Johnson, Competition Director
- Every year the terrain is different, there are features that you never see at any competition. What follows with this is the progression of the riders. They bring their good spirits to the Rockies. It’s a laid back comp, were the riders go when they want and win extra cash when the flames fly.
