2008 Oakley Jib-Vid: The Count Down has begun

Entries for the Oakley Jib-Vid 2008 are now closed and the expectation for the event of the season is reaching boiling point. It is our great pleasure to announce the wildcard teams that have qualified, details of which can be found at the official website.
 
The caliber of all the teams that took the time to enter this year’s Oakley Jib-Vid made selection an exceptionally hard task.  The pressure is definitely on the defending champions and the other invited teams as this is the one competition on the winter calendar when an unsponsored group of dedicated individuals can rock the boat to steal the crown.

For a taster of what to expect from Mayrhofen and the outstanding Vans Penken Park check out this year’s spot check on jib-vid.com, which will give you a glimpse of their amazing set up.  In it, Ulrik Badertscher rips the park apart and finishes with perhaps the most stylish backside 1260 Japan we have ever seen.
