Snow Summit Snow Summit was first opened in 1953 with the nation's first detachable chairlift. In 2002 Snow Summit purchased Big Bear Mountain Resort and together formed Southern California’s number 1 ski resort. Snow Summit offers 240 acres of terrain with 31 diverse trails and 14 lifts. The mountain has an elevation of 8,200 feet and a vertical of 1,200 feet. There is 2 terrain parks: Funs Zones and Ego Trip. The features include jibs and jumps.

November Alta Session Late October Utah got blasted with some heavy early season storms and many deep pow turns, jib sessions and tons of hiking where had. I was unfortunately down in So Cal trying not to catch on fire while all my friends where riding pow.
